First, Thank you both for your excellent advice and insite.Your experience with rolex's has made me feel much better about mine not working, temporarly,I hope. I have had it since 93 and it is a 92 ( "n" prefix number, using date info from this site)although not worn every day and well taken care of,it has never been "cleaned oiled and adjusted". I suspect my wifes, ladies two tone ,no date ( she did not like the cyclopes(?) bubble one dial) will be due next, it was purchased in 96 from a rolex jewler here in NH.I may run the watch by them a request that it go to Rolex for service. I found this site while "surfing" one evening and now it is a daily stop. When I am buy my next watch, I have a real "need" for a president with bark braclet/bezel,it may well be from someone who advertise's here. Again thanks for great advice. Dave K |
