Date Change at 6:00!?!?

I just purchased a second-hand Omega Seamaster Professional Chronograph. The watch was originally purchased retail, and the owner told me it had never been worked on or opened. However, I immediately noticed (well, more like around 5:30) that the date changes at 6:00 instead of 12:00!! Does anyone know how to remedy this problem? Is it serious enough that I have to take it back to Omega to fix? Is it simply a matter of winding the watch/changing the date properly? Is this pretty clear evidence that the watch has been opened? Is it a common problem, has anyone else experience this? I would really appreciate any help anyone could provide me with on this, no watch I've owned has ever done this before. Thanks.
