no problem there apart from the fact that not many Rolex engineers can replace a crystal , usually they put a plastic one i.s.o. the crystal.
so there you may have a problem.

Why did you not buy a sub without date ? will be more valuable after some years, why ? Rolex makes only a few nodate subs and plenty subs wd. //

It will keep its value. I sold my 6541 Milgauss which I got in 1966 for 30.000 usd just a couple of months ago, how about resale value !!!
