tell me about addiction, I got my first Rolex in 1966 as a result of winning a TV quiz (subject 007 would you believe it !) it was a 6541 Milgauss, great thing, it costed then 300 usd and I made 250 usd a month working for Shell as chemical analyst.
I always wanted a submariner because Bond wore that watch in dr No.
But last november I sold it for...... 30.000 usd to a collector,
it appeared to be the most rare Rolex of the post war, only a couple of hundred were made !!!!!

so I bought a new Sub (no date) for 3500 usd never ever imagined to
pay that money for a watch. My heart went rickethetick when I signed the master voucher. But I still have 26500 left so who cares !!

I will be a lifelong fan of Rolex I can tell you
