In hope that somebody can help me I have found several pictures in variuos internet sites that may be of some use. The first pic is of a watch with an identical face (round but with an octagonal bezel?). The second pic is of a swiss made watch (no maker) but it has the same type of lugs. The third pic is of a gents Rolex watch of around 1926 and the nymbering on the face is identical to that on the watch we have. The 4th pic is of the same gents watch showing the movements and they are identical to the one we have...same marks and patterning. The watch we have is rose gold and I have also found some other engraving inside the back case...as far as we can decipher it says `sold to 130??". At this stage we have been unable to make out the last 2 letters or numbers. Also the hands are blue...but the colour is missing in some areas. I hope the pictures may be able to help someone date this watch for us. It has been inspected by a Rolex buyer and repairperson in Australia and they did say it was genuine. Thanks again Lynne Just realised I can only upload an image at a time...see seperate posts.
