Hi
My husband bought a Rolex Watch? for 50c from a junk shop a couple of years ago. I am hoping that someone can help to authenticate it. It is a round ladies watch with an octagonal bezel. It has a white enamel face with black numbers and with gold dots around the face. The only words on the face are ROLEX and SWISS MADE. It is a wind-up watch in a 3-piece case. It has the original black leather band. The only identifying numbers are on the inside of the back case. There is a 9C in a circle at the top of the case and some other mark below this. At the bottom is stamped ROLEX, 7? Worlds Records, Gold Medal, Geneva Suisse, 23302. There is also other numbers that appear to have been engraved on the casing S140a?, 41154565,M1180, 4161733, o88o, B623 and K-41/9/80-7. The watch movements have Rolex, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made and what appears to be FASR on the arm that covers the actual movement. I hope this makes some sense to somebody out there. We have searched the internet hoping to find some information about this watch but to date have had no success.
Thanks
Lynne
