Paul, Your GMT is sensational! I just called Rolex in NYC. They told me the same thing ... no dials or hands, but can overhaul the movement and "tart up" the case and bracelet. But, you know what? Perhaps it would be better to live with this old "veteran" the way it is. It does run well and it looks presentable. What throws me is Rolex's apparent disregard for its past or pride in the watches they produced long ago. You would think that by taking care to help preserve these older models they would be enhancing their image/name for the future! |
