Where can I find vintage Rolex accesories? by irdtupapa (Registered User) Date: 03/14/2002, 08:35:55 In response to: |
I have just purchased an oyster perpetual watch from late 1964 (model 1005, serial 1,199,***) which is stainless steel with a 14k bezel. I don't know if I should get a two-tone band, or a leather strap and buckle (I personally like this last look better, but am willing to hear arguments to the contrary). Anyway, If I get the band, which would be correct, two tone or steel, oyster or jubilee? If I get the leather strap and buckle, should the latter be gold or steel? Where can I find a good source for these items? So many questions. Any additional info on the watch itself would also be greatly appreciated. It has a blue face. I can't upload a picture, but I got no response on my previous query, and the picture appears on a listing of mine from 03/07/02: Vintage 1964 Rolex... Thanks so much. I look forward to hearing from you. IR Modified by irdtupapa at Thu, Mar 14, 2002, 08:38:20 |
