As the gentleman below stated, you might be very happy with one of the service centers here...I did not realize that the jewelers had a fixed price for service either. Anyway I have seen great work come out of the Dallas center...so there are many possibilities. Sometimes there is a romance with having it go back to Switzerland but...it is a little more trouble. I might go to that much trouble myself but you might be just as pleased with the work that you get from Dallas or LA, and the turnaround might be quicker and less hassle with forms and insurance etc. If I hear correctly the New York office sends their work to Dallas now. Regardless, do have it serviced and you will be rolling again in no time.
