No offense but if you don't already know...then the difference is probably not that important to you. TAG and Heuer are part of a large holding company. They have movements made for them...not by them. Rolex is still making its own movements...and prides itself in that. Are they any better? You'll get a lot of opinions. If the watch is a certified chronometer it must fall withing the same specs. The question that is more important is which watch do you like the best. That is the one you should buy. The Rolex will hold its value better because Rolex is very protective of its price and reputation and the availability of spare parts...etc. Also because of its reputation. Omega also has a great history...and they have some excellent watches to chose from. TAG Heuer is a new name grafted onto the old Heuer brand. They do make some nice retro watches...but nothing new that would interest me enough to spend my bucks...especially when compared to what strong vintage watches available for the same price.
