Thanks for such an honest reply. Noting the differences between the two watches, the SD is far superior:

1. Stronger case (1mm thicker)
2. Stronger crystal (1mm thicker)
3. Hence the deeper depth
4. Stronger and better Bracelet
5. Comex History
6. Helium escape valve

These are all positive changes. As you stated, cons:

1. Requires more periodic maintenance
2. Requires specific tools for maintenance (helium valve)
2. Costs more (Although I think the price difference is not that signigficant. SD retails $4000 to Sub's $3875)
3. Cumbersome to wear
4. Less name regcognition - difficult to sell in an emergency
