I sure wouldn't buy that! I can think of a hundred watches I would rather have that would be way under $30,000. ha ha! Quite a reduction though. $100,000 off of the original price. He likely bid on his own watch to make it look like someone was actually interested. The private auction makes it easier to do that. Like James said last year...Rolex would likely custom make you one for a WHOLE lot less. I will add that lapis is not Kashmiri Sapphire for Pete's sake.
