Anyway, after a business deal closed, I received a Franck Muller watch from a good friend. I know nothing about watches and thought I would look it up on the web, since I had not heard of the brand.

Nowhere can I find a reference for a Franck Muller ' Caribbean ', which it says on the watch face and on the certificate . It has a single digit production number on the back and the case says ' casablanca ' on the handle. The problem is that the shape is a little bulkier looking, the face is ornate, a little cartoony, and the strap is high fawn relief leather sewn in blue thread - none of the casablancas on the web look that close.

I'm hoping one of you ' watch guys ' knows something about it.
