Currently I am interested in either the IWC Mark XV and the Rolex Explorer 1...however as with everything there are positives and negatives associated with each.

I really like the look and history of the Explorer 1, however part of me thinks the Mark XV is a better designed watch (Ball Bearings on Rotor, Domed Sapphire glass, Bracelet and clasp...etc) however I do not like how the numerals are applied on the dial of the IWC as to me it seems cheap compaired to the Rolex, the design of the bracelet to me is not as visually appealing as the Rolex oyster, and the white date window on the black background does not sit well either.

any thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
