I'm sorry, I forget that everyone is not familiar with some of the terms. A 1570 mvt. The Rolex that you described is a Datejust from the 1970's and that watch uses a calibre 1570 movement or mechanism. This is the model number of the mechanism itself. This is considered by many to be one of the best movements that they ever used and is a true workhorse. It is a chronemeter grade with a calendar in this case.
