Quartz--Kind of boring

Hi,

I'm seeing comments about how great quartz accuracy is, but isn't the interesting aspect of mechanical watches the fact that there is a level of craftsmanship and history behind them? They're an extenuation of hundreds of years of development, ideas, and evolution. The fact that they are not as accurate as quartz watches is, to me, what makes them exciting and adds to their charm. What is interesting is the fact that they can be adjusted and regulated to enhance accuracy and that by winding or moving your wrist, the wearer has a part in their operation. Besides, who needs the accuracy of quartz watches?
Ron
