rolex oyster perpetual air king by mike johnston (Registered User) Date: 03/31/2002, 14:20:03 In response to: |
I have a 1977 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Airking that is in fair to poor shape. It is still running but the band is gone, the stem will no longer lock down and the crystal (plastic)is scratched. Is it possible to have the watch repaired with a new stem, a new crystal (can the plastic crystal be replaced with a non-plastic crystal) and replace the band or would it be better to use the money to better advantage and purchase another rolex in better condition. Also, since I am quite new to learning about Rolex watches, how does one find out about "fair" prices on used Rolex watches? Any help is appreciated |
