Thanks for asking because it made me realize what has happened to my watch circumstance. Prior to mid June I did not have a watch. Then I got a bunch of watches. A couple months ago, my fave weekend watch was my IWC MkXII (then seemingly with a new band every week and now strapless). Over a month ago, my fave weekend AND weekday watch became an AP Jules Audemars Chronograph because it has my old time teen idol's name engraved on the case back--and I wore that watch everyday when on vacation recently. Now I notice that this weekend and last weekend I did not wear a watch. My weekends are always spent in shorts and trainers (yes, it is getting cold, but I am determined to be reminded that it is the weekend) and the IWC was perfect for that. The AP began to seem out of place, especially in black and gold (as though I dressed my wrist, but lapsed into a funk). Maybe when I finally get the correct watch band for the IWC it will be back in weekend service again. Unless I am reverting to my pre-watch days. Question: What does the (___ reads) mean behind people's names on this forum? I thought it meant number of times the post was visited, but that could not be true because my visits did not cause any change in the number. May all your days be weekends!
