Question on price on purchase?

I am looking to add another piece to my collection today. The Rolex is a 1981 Date model with a white roman numerial dial. It has the acrylic crystal and is on a heavy oyster bracelet. The seller is reliable, as I have purchase from him before. He is asking $1350. Serials and model numbers are good. There in no paperwork or box. It appears to be recently polished, but he is unclear on servicing ($250 in my past).

What do you all think? I guess I just need a little extra peace of mind today.
