It would seem so. Rolex evidently made very few Lapis subs...and now they don't offer it anymore at least not on the surface. I still maintain that they would gladly make you one for a lot less than $145,000.00...they aren't stupid! As I stated Lapis is not that rare of a material anyway. The watch is still for sale on Ebay right now and will likely remain so forever. He just keeps listing it. The listing fees on this item with that kind of reserve would be astronomical. I dunno.
