Generally it is between Rolex and something else and for me there would be no question...Between the no date Sub and Explorer II, hmmm...

I would have to go with the Explorer II, in fact I did in about 1990. GREAT WATCH. More versatile with the zulu hand and the calendar. I dunno it is very individual. When I first saw the white dial Exp.II I had to have one. They were quite uncommon then. Now both of these are seen a lot. I think they are both great watches and either is gonna make you very happy.
