Purchasing a Rolex

Ok, I am sure this question has been asked on this board a hundred times. Please be patient with me fore I a new to Rolex and to this page. Anyway, I am interested in purchasing a DateJust Rolex from a local dealer. The sticker price is $4700. How do I determine what a good price for the watch would be? It appears to be mostly stainless steel with 18k gold trim. It has a white face. I’m not exactly sure how to describe it any further.
