Settling period

I have a new Breitling Super Ocean Automatic purchased almost two weeks ago. It is consistently gaining 10 seconds a day. this is greater than the limits set by the COSC as i understand them. i also understand that there is a settling period during which it is too soon to tell if i need an adjustment. How long is this settling period? Is 10 seconds too much ? Should I let the dealer's watch maker repair it or will that void the warranty? Any thoughts or comments?
