Atomic watches contain an antenna and an internal program to receive and encode the radio signal. Radio signal comes from US WWVB transmitter in Fort Collins, Colorado. Signal is the decoded to display the precise time. They maintain total accuracy by automatic nightly updates with the radio signal. Junghans watches may also be manually updated by the user. (Useful for demostrating the atomic technology to friends).
