The bracelet is alternating polished and fine-brushed steel. The bezel is polished steel. The chronograph feature is accurate up to 1/10th sec. Date is shown at 4 o’clock position. This watch has a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. Water resistant is up to 200 meters. The watch is beautifully dialed with a silver dial and has a gray victory flag across from 8 o’clock to 4 o’clock and ‘West McLaren Mercedes 98’ on top of that. The back case has a laser engraved signature of the Team McLaren drivers, Mika Hakkinen and David Coulthard, and Team McLaren director, Ron Dennis. Under Ron Dennis signature, there is a laser engraved ‘Limited Edition 1998’ and a serial number 2783/3999 below it. This watch was made to commemorate the West McLaren Mercedes winning team in 1998 season as Team McLaren won its eighth World Constructors’ Championship and the first since 1991 with Mika Hakkinen raced his MP4-13 race car to win his first of two Formula One World Driver Championship.
